Jonah Hill is hilarious. One of the funniest movies ever. The story line was hilarious, watch this movie if you don't mind some crude humor. There wasn't 1 joke that I didn't laugh at, my favourite scene is at the end [...] SO FUNNY, must see.

One word. [...] you science! Loved that movie, laughed from beginning to ending. Can't wait for sequel.

Full of swearing and gross comments. We stopped watching it. Avoid at all costs.

Comedy is very subjective. This film has some brilliant moments of meta movie references, with jokes about remakes and the hilarious cameo by the original cast. Some other jokes are less inspired - like people reacting to the fictional super drug. But overall, the movie is goofy entertainment that transcends its humble source material in a way that many others have failed miserably to do. I'm calling you out, A-Team and GI Joe!

Loved the tv series and so totally enjoyed the movie as I was a bit worried that they would make a mockery of this awesome tv series. Needless to say I was entertained.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
This film based on the 80's tv show of the same name could have been a real train-wreck. Fortunately, it works thanks in no small part to the dynamic duo of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum and a clever script that pokes fun at the conventions of both buddy cop and high school movies of the past. Just when you think the film has run out of gas, it surprises you again and again with clever twists and some hilarious role reversals. Hill, dawning green tights and performing a dancing speech from Peter Pan while high on drugs is just one of many comedic gems this film has to offer. Johnny Depp, star of the original tv series has a brilliant cameo as well to add to the fun. Not for children but quite hilarious if you're in the right mood.

Meh! I thought this was gonna be a winner, but I have to say, I felt like a bunch of 10 year olds wrote this movie. Tatum was funny, but I found myself annoyed at Hill's character, almost like he was pathetic. I just don't find this cat that funny anymore. The bathroom scene had me laughing good, but that level of comedy was not sustained throughout.

Funniest movie I've seen this year! Great laughs for people with an open mind. I will definitely be buying a copy for myself.
| 10/10 | jenniesantos90@ - 5 reviews 30.6.2012 - age: 18-25 |
One of the funniest comedies all year! Definitely a must see. However, this movie isn't for anyone who gets offended easily.
| 9/10 | maddy@ - 2 reviews 29.6.2012 - age: 18-25 |
One of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time, I went and saw it twice and it was still just as funny, if you enjoy comedy go see it. Now.
| 9/10 | jer_duarte@ - 92 reviews 26.6.2012 - age: 18-25 |
I thought it was gonna be one of those films you regret seeing, but it was OK and very funny... one of those film that you see on a sunday night when there's nothing else to do. =)
| 6/10 | jaguar-soul@ - 49 reviews 25.6.2012 - age: 26-35 |
I've paid to see this movie 3 times and I'm seeing it again tonight. I knew this movie was going to be funny but it was so much funnier than I could have expected. I cried not only from laughing to hard but also the heart warming parts. It has everything.
| 10/10 | daph.knee3@ - 2 reviews 22.6.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Overall, it was well crafted and acted but there was too much crudity and swearing. It's a pity so many films of this genre can't seem to hold their own without continuously lowering the bar of civility.
| 6/10 | person_one@ - 35 reviews 21.6.2012 |
It was entertaining, didn't need to use your brain at all. Hope they don't have a sequel.
| 7/10 | idonda@ - 35 reviews 20.6.2012 - age: 50+ |
I thought this movie was hilarious. Tatum and Hill were great together in it.
| 8/10 | uniqueblendzzz@ - 9 reviews 12.6.2012 - age: 50+ |
It had action, it had drama, it had laughs, it had romance what more can you ask in a movie? Oh and the acting was great too.
| 8/10 | barb@ - 46 reviews 10.6.2012 |
One of the best if not the best movie I've seen.
| 10/10 | comedylover@ - 5 reviews 10.6.2012 - age: 18-25 |
The movie has action; it has a serious message to be delivered using good sense of humour.
| 8/10 | lopez@ - 2 reviews 4.6.2012 - age: 36-49 |
This movie was a surprise to me. I went because I am a big fan of the two comedians in it, but I my expectations were low. I ended up really enjoying the movie. Not an Oscar winner, but definitely a great funny movie movie.
| 8/10 | freebj@ - 9 reviews 2.6.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Very plainly it was crude & idiotic. How many times can you listen to someone say, 'suck my xxx'? Even teens would get a little tired of that!!! And that's their language. Stupid plot. Underestimates the teen age group.
| 3/10 | cinbrad@ - first review 1.6.2012 - age: 36-49 - One reply |
They classified this movie as "action, comedy" but it should be classified as "action, stupid", and "stupid" does NOT make comedy! So much swearing it was uncomfortable. Left after 45 minutes. Save your money, even free, this show isn't worth it!
| 2/10 | polishprince20@ - 3 reviews 23.5.2012 - age: 50+ |
Very funny, was fun to watch, I laughed the whole time!

| 9/10 | danamoldoveanu@ - 6 reviews 17.5.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Yes there is swearing probably every sentence there is. But watched with ma asian parent and she had her both thumbs up. Yes. It has inapproprate joke and scenes but seriously, don't watch them if u r not understanding the jokes the teenagers are making these days. Jeezers get with da flow. And another yes, it is ridiculous and hysterical because I never have laughed so much in my entire life, and it make u laugh from the start till the very end.

A lot funnier than the trailer let on. The story line was pretty good and Tatum and Hill had good chemistry. Very entertaining!
| 7/10 | sara@ - 64 reviews 13.5.2012 - age: 26-35 |
So much funnier than expected. Both actors together genius and lol funny. One of the better silly/stupid comedies.
| 8/10 | smashing10@ - 5 reviews 13.5.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Silly. The movie was a lot of fun. Worth seeing for a good laugh.
| 8/10 | spacecharm@ - 66 reviews 13.5.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Some pretty good laughs but nothing overly memorable about the movie.
| 6/10 | requiemforthedying@ - 4 reviews 13.5.2012 - age: 36-49 |
It is a ok movie. Good laughs, not a masterpiece but it's worth it.
| 8/10 | hdmorenos@ - 47 reviews 12.5.2012 - age: 36-49 |
Not innately horrible. But the writing is so unbelievably lazy. The two leads have zero chemistry. Not one single person involved can actually act. You need ACTORS to hold things down so the zaniness has some context. Not here apparently. A couple of laughs. Jonah Hill is the new Will Ferrell-a singularly unpleasant performer who obviously has deep deep issues. The opposite of a star. They can't even give Ice Cube a couple of good lines. Way to handle a legend.
| 3/10 | nickwinters@ - 15 reviews 9.5.2012 - age: 18-25 |
Hysterical. If you're in need of a laugh because no good comedies have been out recently. This is the one to see.

It is the most disgusting show we have ever seen, none of the reviews said anything about all the the swearing in the movie every few words were swear words. No one laughed and there was nothing to laught about. Do not waste your money.
| 1/10 | benfunk@ - first review 5.5.2012 - age: 50+ |
I have not laughed this hard in a theatre in a looong time. Was it ridiculous? You bet. Vulgar? Oh yeah. Hilarious right from beginning to end in my opinion. If you have a sense of humor and aren't easily offended, see it. If you're the opposite, you might want to skip this one.
