Tonmig don't be shallow. The reason women love this serie is not because of fashion or affairs. Those are just the cover of this wonderful book that is sex and the city. The serie is about friendship, love, the way women feel towards men, toward aging, not being married and so much more. Real facts of life. That s why it reached so many people young and older! Did you try to jump off a building and fly after seeing superman?.. Exactly my point.

I'm curious... did you even SEE the movie? Because, your "review" doesn't actually have any commentary on the movie itself, and by your attitude, I can't imagine why you would go; it doesn't seem like your thing. This site isn't for social commentary, it's for reviews of MOVIES. I came to this site to see what people thought of the film... not to get an anonymous and snarky lecture on how to spend my money or time. Perhaps you are the one who needs to "get a life" if right now all you want to do is go around spoiling other people's fun. Or perhaps you should just get a blog and leave the movie review sites to those who are actually interested in reviewing a movie. I enjoyed the series. Yes, it is "fluffy", but not everything in life has to be presented to us in the cold harsh light of reality, and the vast majority of us can make the distinction between what is real and what is fantasy; we don't actually imagine that we're going to meet Mr. Big, leave our husbands and run around in $600 shoes and couture outfits. Based on what others had to say about the film, I'm not sure that I'll go see it in the theatre. But your wet blanket commentary isn't going to impact my decision in the least.
