Really great survival flick with an outstanding performance from James Franco. I felt like applauding once or twice in the movie. Far better than Cast Away (which I liked as well), you'll find yourself being moved in jubiliation on every small win and devastasted at each setback. Boyle is very hit and miss for me in terms of director but he's certainly the right choice to keep things really exciting and interesting in a very small, tight crevase in a canyon. I forget how insanely gorgeous Clemence Poesy (In Bruges) was as well. Highly Recommended.
