I can't believe I'm giving this high a rating to a movie that had Shia Leboeuf swinging on vines through trees with a bunch of wild monkeys. In the end, I think that this movie does deliver entertainment and Harrison Ford does a great job. If I was rating this movie strictly as an Indiana Jones movie, I would rate it lower since it fails on so many levels compared to the series' precedents. Definitely the worst of the series but still a decent action-adventure film even though every action sequence is too obviously staged and badly edited. Lucas' switch of making the bad guys chase the good guys for once was an insanely poor decision. It totally kills the drive of the movie. This is the first time I've ever given a movie a good review but still would not recommend it to anyone. Weird. It's just too joyless a motion picture. On an unrelated note, I'm building a line of cars and armor suits that will sport Frigidaire-plating technology. I believe it will fetch a high price since not even the world's most powerful weaponry can breach its outer defence wall consisting of vegetable crispers and butter trays.
