This score should probably be 20% higher given that this is BY FAR the best Twilight so far. Much like the Harry Potter franchise, it took until the 3rd installment to really get its legs. I heard so many bad things about this one but I really think its getting a bad rap. The story is far more engaging and yes, there are huge problems still with the script and pacing, but there are actually some great moments of action and maybe even romance. For instance, the scene in the tent is actually REALLY good drama (in my opinion) I think the movie tries to keep too many scenes (surely from the book) however. For instance, Bella and Edward have FOUR lengthy scenes where they discuss her wanting him to turn her. FOUR! You only need one and then we get the picture of how they both feel on it. The action scenes are really fun, especially later on into the movie. I can't get enough of those werewolves. And this is the first of the movies where I started not hating Edward (maybe that's why I like it better, since I can now identify a bit more with Bella) This is the first Twilight where I didn't groan, laugh or felt any physical pain watching it. Totally passable flick. Not fantastic but just way ahead of the previous two installments.
