Just worthy of a ten for me, so few super hero movies will ever constitute a ten. I suspect I may be more enamored with the Hellboy movies than most, so you may take my 10 recommendation with a grain of salt here. Spider-Man would be another that sits on the fence of 9 and 10 for me. Hellboy is more of an anti-hero and that just makes for a more interesting character than the usual selfless heroes those types of movies usually bring us. He's a hero all the same. Very interesting world Hellboy lives in as created by the originators of the character and for my money it translates really well on the big screen. Loved Pearlman in the role. The supporting cast was first rate as well. The directing and effects looked fantastic as well. Also big points for creative creatures in the Hellboy stories.
