Don’t listen to negative critics, GO SEE IT!! I really don’t understand where these numerous negative critics are coming from regarding Sex and the City 2!? I have been a fan of SATC since the beginning and NO, I am not such a big fan to love anything blindly! I can honestly say, personally, that the first movie was not my favourite, so they recuperated beautifully with the second movie! OF course, it’s not the movie of the year and it will probably not win an oscar, but we found it really good!!! Yes, there are a couple of awkward-too-much-bling-bling scenes, but overall, this movie reminds me of a long version of an original TV show (with a much bigger budget) Yes, it may not be EXACTLY the same as the TV series, but I think most people have forgotten that the SATC gals are no longer SINGLE and have moved on to another level in life; one that involves complicated marriages, raising children and facing body changes while aging… and I have to say that the director and producers have done a great job by making their audience laugh whole-heartedly and keeping that SATC magic! My friend and I came out of the movie with big smiles and with big plans of getting the DVD when it will be released!! So go see it, and as long as you don’t expect THE movie of the year, you will love it too!!!
