I've never seen the TV show. I went to this movie hoping for a few laughs and to see something light that I woouldn't have to think about. Well, the funniest bits are contained in the trailer and I ended up thinking about how bad this movie is. Really bad! Don't waste your money. I gave it a 2 only because a few of the gags made me laugh. Otherwise this is a dismal attempt at humour that just doesn't quite work. Avoid.
