We were so disappointed, we expected much more after the preview. The actors were great and the movie was well done, but the storyline was so boring, I almost fell asleep. Don't waste your money wait for the dvd.

Disappointed! Why? How can anyone expect Much More? Seriously, it's just a movie, not an olympic event! Enjoy it for what it is.

Believe me, we wanted to love it. All of us (men, women, young, old) felt it boooring and slow. The two guys were brilliant and the directing was good, but it needed a better storyline. The last 15 minutes was better. I'm glad you liked it. I look forward to see the second part, I'm sure they will make more.

If you really want to see what real Sherlock Holmes should look like then you should find a Russian version of this movie.

Are you being sarcastic? I'm not Russian by the way (you may think that, as per one of my comments, but I'm not) You guys really have problem to respect others' opinion.

I don't know where your last comment came from. I actually suggested that you should see the Russian version of SH (you can find one with subtitles) Watch it and you will really feel the atmosphere of England without even being there. Of course, at the time when they were shooting there were no computer special effects, but anyway, the Russian copy was recognized the best SH ever made. And now think, what would this new movie look like without those computer effects. Good acting and a stupid plot. Nothing more, nothing less. And I do respect your opinion, that is why I read it and replied.
