Samule L. Jackson brilliant, as always. Good story, good plot.

Won tickets to see this movie, liked it very much. It's a great action thriller, good story, full of unexpected events. Samuel L. Jackson is great as always. Don't miss it.

An interesting storyline. Samuel Jackson was very convincing yet still has his classic Sam Jackson moments which will probably be parodied down the road. Ruth Negga's performance was fantastic. Caught me totally off guard! Although serious in tone with plenty of action, there are a few funny moments.

It was great. I usually wouldn't watch this sort of movie but I really enjoyed it. It had a twist and it was great. I recommended this to everyone. Thanks.

I enjoyed the film... worth watching with no doubt.. I liked the directing... you'll never feel bored. The only thing I don't know if it is good or bad that there's many twists... [...] go watch... like us... :p

I didn't know what to expect at all, and was completely blown away by this film. It wasn't predictable at all. The characterizations were great and consistent - which is a tribute to the actors and the directing. Included in the cast was the amazing Samuel L. Jackson - who didn't utter a single one of his signature catch phrases all the way through. He plays a guy who just got out of jail after serving a lengthy sentence. I'll say no more than that - to type anything further would be a callous and unkind thing to the reader, as each viewer should see this for him or herself. You'll know what I mean once you see it. Trust me.

A lot of people will end up spoiling this movie for you if you asked them what it's about. That's because in it, there's a major twist that beggars belief - worse, it's been done before in another well-known movie, so I can't tell you for fear of giving it away. What I can tell you is that this is a messy movie with one too many elements. Worse, Samuel L Jackson looks slightly bored and muted here. Worth a look if ticket is free.

Enjoyed the Vancouver screening of the movie on Thursday, May 10th, 2012 at International Village Cinemas. The crowd seemed to enjoy the story and slight twists and turns, and a solid job from Samuel L. Jackson, as expected. Cool to hear they filmed the movie in less than 2 months in Toronto too.

A good action flick with so many twists and turns you hardly see them coming. Well worth the watch. Jackson portrays the role to a tea!
