It was slow moving indeed and believe it or not things like that actually exist. You would be suprised that many places do that sort of stuff. Emily is very cute, talented and she was awesome in Sucker Punch and Lemony Snicket's: Series of unfortunate events.

I think this movie is worth seeing if only for the cinematography that is particulary beautiful.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.]
The Film Sleeping Beauty reminds me of The Story of O, or Histoire d'O (1975) where she is trained for strange sexual purposes. Sleeping Beauty is a bizarre film where Emily Browning (24) Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004) suffers from an extreme transformation, the innocent child we loved and adored in the latter movie becomes a full grown woman ready to do what it takes to make ends meet. Emily Browning plays her audacious job with ease that surprises. She does carries it on at many levels. Did or did not this Sleeping Beauty woke up with a kiss or by the kiss of death. The end disappoints for is vagueness. Sleeping Beauty will have to wait for a reincarnation to merit such a fate. That twist was forced and totally illogical and ruins the movie totally. In other words it did not make any sense. Not condemned to sleep for an eternity, we may assume that her final sleep may, may not be just another different initiation to test her trustworthiness and discretion. Yes there is room for something else, something that it's not said neither is implied it just comes from our own imagination to put the accent on logic. If we don't then the pieces don't fit and becomes a horror flick.

Well, the story isn't great. I do however understand the need to denounce the fact that such things are taking place in the world. Be it in western countries where law against such things exist or in other countries were they do not. The old faces we see on the street, in grocery stores or on trains aren't necessarily faces of citizens who have acquired the wisdom that we like to think they have. Which should help parents remember to tell the kids that they should respect the elders who respect them. NOT EVERY ELDERLY PERSON IS WORTHY OF THEIR RESPECT.

It's so sick to make a movie like this. Very slow motion. I like Emily Browning but she's kind of actress who always chooses stupid movies (Sucker punch and then this) She should badly regret not playing Bella in Twilight saga.

Haha, my rating is "not good, even if you don't pay" because that's exactly my experience. Initially I would have been willing to pay to see this film, as I like Emily Browning and usually enjoy her movie choices. But I found myself not really being interested in her main character here. I found myself questioning a lot of the film's choices more than anything else. It's stylish, yes, but the lack of character ruined it for me. When the film ended, someone in the theater yelled: "WHAT?!? "
