It was alright! It was way better than the animated versions, though!

It was actually quite good and funny, of course you have to take it as a parody of the real story! It was touching and the actors were great! If only Lily Collins could have replaced Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman it would have been a great movie!! Anyway, any child would like this :)

My nieces and nephews thought it was "whatever", so I will say good. Julia Roberts hasn't made many films this year so it was nice to see her. She can do a lot better though with that acting range of hers.

Definitely for an older audience. It was okay. I wouldn't see it in theatres though. It's not worth the money.

An updated version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs which unfolds on an epically beautiful landscape. Humour was updated to entice an older audience, and colourful characters were added but they should have been kept still and quiet since they weren't nearly as funny as our evil Queen and dim-witted Prince. The Princess is a new-styled female heroine. Powerful, independent and competent - three adjectives better than princesses of previous generations.
| 7/10 | napierslogs@ - 4 reviews 4.7.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Visuals alone couldn't save how bad this movie was. In one hand the storyline tried to be kid friendly. The rest was mostly for an older audience. It was too bad that it didn't stay more kid friendly because I think the visuals with a great storyline geared for a young audience would have done well. Unfortunately the storyline wasn't all that great, the visuals just went to waste. Julia playing the wicked queen wasn't good either. She's America's Sweetheart. Her acting was good but when you see her in this movie, you'll see glimpse of why she is considered America's Sweetheart and not good playing a wicked queen.

New take on snow white... Julia Roberts is almost deliciously evil but she just quiet doesn't make it. Go see it and compare it to Snow White and the Hunstman. One apple will clearly be more appealing.
| 7/10 | ferling100@ - 47 reviews 1.7.2012 - age: 26-35 |
Some bits were good, others not so much. Costumes and sets were eye candy. I like Julia Roberts but this was not her best performance. Lily Collins was a cute Snow White. This movie is OK but I'm glad I got in for free. The final scene (no spoiler here) is surprising and lets you leave in a good mood.

Not my style of film, but I saw it with my wife and I thought that the FX's were very good, sometimes the film was funny and the end made me think wtf, lol.
| 7/10 | jaguar-soul@ - 49 reviews 25.6.2012 - age: 26-35 |
While live actors... it had orientation of a comic book. Some acrobatics add laughter. The best part of the show was the extravaganza party... AFTER the movie ended.

It was weird, it had its funny parts, over all it was ok.

I really enjoyed this movie. All the good comments were true. I feel I got more than I expected.

I like Julia Roberts so I wanted to see her in this remake of Snow White. It is hard when you grow up on Snow White to see this film but I enjoyed as a night out at the movies. I don't think I would take a young child to see it. The period costumes were beautiful and the ending was kinda cool.

Awesome! Beautifully done both by the actors and the creators of this movie!!!

The story line was definitely different than other Snow White films, but it wasn't anything I would brag about seeing. It was a little uncomfortable for children to watch.

A nice movie! Well made, I loved how they kept most of the story the same but changed some of it to adapt it to 2012!!! And Julia Roberts was hilariousss!!!

Mirror, Mirror is a good movie. It has some things that scare my sister. But it has a couple of funny parts.
| 7/10 | calebmarquart@ - first review 2.6.2012 - age: 1-12 |
I was surprised. I really liked it even if there was a bit to much fantasy in some of the costumes. Everyone was good but I specially liked Julia Roberts' character... very interesting. I also liked the ending with the music. The director was able to bring a new life to an old tale and making it interesting to see.

This was very entertaining. Not typical and quite original. I really enjoyed this movie. I'd recommend this movie to anyone.

Originally, I thought that I was going to see Snow White and the Huntsman, which looks amazing... but I was pleasantly surprised how well this film turned out. This is great for families. The costumes are really cool and story is really good. I would definitely recommend this to families and to individuals that like to embrace their inner child.

What a trite movie! Just another stupid movie telling little girls that the only way to be happy is to be the most beautiful princess and then marry the handsome rich prince. I expected better. And the real topper is that the older and beautiful woman is a witch!!!

Wasn't really expecting the worst movie ever! Disgusting! I really feel sorry for the people who watched this super lame film. So BORING! If you are taking your child to this movie, don't. It's HORRIBLE!

This show does not deserve all those bad reviews. For a modern time fairy tale this was it. It was a real twist that actually makes more sense. I love the good ole fashion fairy tales but this was simply awesome. Everyone did a fab job from the actors to the behind the scenes people. Bravo! It was very entertaining, funny and about time we saw these kinda movies in a different aspect.

FEMINISM has finally WON!! The movie had a half-naked man-toy displayed as a sex object, a princess saving a prince, and a buffoon as the queens servant and guards!! VIVE la femme!!

Hi, it's me again, I love your movie, I love Snow White because she is kinda funny but really brave and I also so love everyone else too!!! :)

Any movie that shows a woman marrying a man who has spanked her with a sword is not worth seeing. Prince is a loser. She should have married one of the dwarfs, who had more respect for her. Not funny. Not romantic. Just garbage.

I have not laughed that much at a movie in a LONG time - and it was totally clean in terms of humour!! I am still laughing just thinking about the movie! Definitely will be one of my happy movies going forward!!

An updated fairytale featuring a heroine for the 21st Century. Funny and entertaining with a good ensemble cast playing the 7 dwarfs.
| 8/10 | evaywchui@ - 2 reviews 23.4.2012 - age: 26-35 |
God, what a terrible movie. I expected lots more from Julia Roberts, but instead she skated through this mess. And Lily Collins was simply horrible. Most of the kids in the theatre where we watched this mess spent most of the time chatting with their neighbours, while my daughter fell asleep. Several parents even left to read in the lobby! Worse, the big message (princesses can be as strong as princes) was totally lost in the the so-called "swordfight." The only happy news is the credits: stick around for those. Otherwise, bring a book.
| 2/10 | randy_barnhart@ - 31 reviews 23.4.2012 - age: 50+ |
Not a bad movie, not a great movie – GOOD. Almost fell asleep during the beginning of it, then in came topless Armand Hammer, don’t get why Disney had to do that in the movie, especially when children will watch it. LOVED the Dwarfs, brought a great spin on it. I can see good roles for Lily Collins, she has the inner calm and beauty reminiscent of a young Audrey Hepburn. LOVE Nathan Lane and Mare Winningham, the two added charm to the movie. Julia Roberts was BLAhhh, her part needed to be “DIFFERENT”.

Since I am a grownup, I would like a little more violence and drama. However, above all, it all seamed pretty good. It was ok I guess.

Better than I expected and certainly appreciated by the kids in the audience who clapped enthusiastically through the end credits. Julia Roberts does an entertaining turn as the evil queen but Nathan Lane is under-utilized as her "henchman". Armie Hammer is a fun Prince and the dwarves could have used a stronger backstory but were entertaining none the less.

It was surprisingly entertaining and funny especially the performances by the seven dwarfs. I also enjoyed the costumes and settings. Julia Roberts wasn't too bad as the evil queen.
