Not nearly the film I was expecting. With the 2:19 running, I was expecting those extra 15 minutes to contain more action than the first two. The MJ/Peter/Harry love triangle was done in the first film... And in the second film... And they used it again here. Too much, if you ask me. I want to see Spider-man, not a soap-opera about a nerdy teenage kid, his dream girl and his rich and powerful best friend. Also, the 'emo' Peter Parker... Very very lame. It ended up making the film too cheesy... And this is Sam Raimi, creator of Evil Dead. Anyways, in spite of the over-the-top drama, the action was superb. The end fight with all 4 heroes/villains was awesome. Sandman and Venom looked amazing. If you don't mind sitting through about 1hr 30mins of drama and 'Spidey chants' and really want to see Venom, definitely see it. Otherwise I'd wait for DVD.
