A terrible waste of good film. Liam Neeson cannot save this drech. Horrible story.

Oh, GAWD! This is a snooze-fest. Bring your pillow and blanket. Awful and dreadful.

This is a must see! You are always on the edge and wondering how will this end! The ending is different than a normal typical Hollywood movie and that is perfect! I hope we will get “The Grey 2”!!!

I don't know what I was expecting but this was a pretty good movie. Antartic, snow, people stranded after their plane crashed, wolves... that's a good premise if the producter know how to deliver a good movie. Which he did! What I really liked about the movie is that it is slow paced and there is not much dialogue. There is also not much exageration à la hollywood. There is no superhero in this movie, no cheesy love story and no goofy humour. It's just this bunch of guys lost in the snow, awaiting for their death. Every single character you get a fell about them. If you are expecting action, don't watch this. If you like thrillers/drama, this one is a must. One of my favorites movies for the last 12 months. Enjoy!

I was on the edge of my seat watching this thriller and after leaving the theatre would have strongly recommended it. In hindsight, I have to agree it was depressing and perhaps unrealistic. I enjoyed it, but I'm not sure I would feel the need to watch it again. I actually loved the ending.

Film saisissant...

It was good for a change to have a movie that was about wilderness, men, weather and animal that could get you in a heartbeat... no car races, no superhuman men, no unbelievable stunts, no nude boobs, no super skinny girls, just good survival skills.

Had I known that real wolves were killed in the making of this movie I NEVER ever would have seen it!!! The one scene where these neanderthals are actually eating a wolf is real according to what I read. How they can get away with such cruelty to animals for the purpose on entertainment is mind boggling in today's day and age! Totally disgusting!

Do not waste your time or money on this. The acting is ridiculously over the top. Many of the characters are one-dimensional stereotypes. In addition, the movie drags on at a snail-like pace in several parts.

Worth watching because the story line is good and the ending leaves you wanting more but not leaving you unfulfilled.

A bit overdone but enjoyable. Was told by a reviewer on the radio "to watch all the credits there was another scene afterwards". I did so, but there was only one, repeat one, picture - and that was all. I think that reviewer must have had a relative or friend included in those "credits".

For the ones complaining about this movie, did you know that the final scene of the movie is right after the ending generics? On my side, I really enjoyed the movie. I liked the ambiance, acting and the scenery.

This is a haunting, harrowing and unflinching film that rejects all Hollywood's cliches about being lost in the wilderness. Neeson's performance is very powerful and the supporting cast play their parts perfectly. By the end of the movie I was staring at the screen, riveted and utterly sobered.

Jaws & anaconda version Wolves. Absolutely non realistic. It always surprises me scenes at -40 celsius with actors walking in running shoes with no gloves or hat. Acting is not bad but the story is really bad. Avoid at all costs.

This movie was slow and boring, I couldn't wait for it to end. Niam Leeson should read the script of his movies before doing whatever crap makes him money. Don't waste your time.

Liam, Liam, Liam what were you thinking... ? This movie does nothing good for his career. I'm not sure that he cares though as it looks like he's in the mode of "more movies are better" as two of the new movie preview trailers has Liam in the lead role! There were uncomfortable moments of silence where Liam just stood there like a tree (ie: by the river) Many parts were not believable (ie: they jump off a cliff to avoid the wolves only to have wolves attack at the bottom) They did a horrible job with the wolf behaviour, totally unrealistic and not accurate once again portraying them as the bad guys. They did not look very realistic in some of the scenes either. Exploration/oil companies would never hire a "sharpshooter" to protect their workers from wolves because it is not necessary, there is too much activity going on which would keep most wildlife far far away. Also they don't explain/show how Liam survives being soaked to the bone from his extended river swim, that scenario being the cold of winter could have killed many if they could not get a fire going and dry out, they just skipped right over it. Oh and I can't forget to mention that one of his "weapons" to fight the wolf is broken liquor sample bottles taped between his fingers!! Given the thick hair and skin on a wolf all that would do is tickle (good visual effect though) I rated the movie as high as I did because the plane crash site looked realistic and some of it was filmed locally in Smithers. Save your $$ and see Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, now there's a movie worth your admission fee.

Seriously guys have we seen the same movie or what? No script, bad acting, funny wolves (like a cartoon edition).. poor Liam Neeson he must be at the end of his carrier to play into that kind of movies... AVOID IT, go see your mother in law instead!!!

An unusual but wonderfully thrilling man-against-nature action film. Acting and cinematography is stunning! Wait and watch the credits, cause there's a hidden scene afterwards.

I love Liam Neeson as an actor I have never been deceived except for this movie. It is very predictable. The wolves are too fake, the story is boring. They could have done something better with such good actors.

Was really disappointed in this movie. The ending was terrible! The movie was quite depressing, way too much swearing, the whole movie just seemed pointless. Don't waste your money on this one!

WARNING! This movie is unbelievably bad. Avoid this turkey of a movie at all costs. You will cheer for the wolves hoping that will make the movie end sooner and put it out of its misery. The only living thing injured by the making of this movie is the audience. The closing credits were more exciting than this movie.

If you like Liam Neeson as an actor, you will like this movie. Special effects are well done and all the actors did a good job considering the weather conditions in which they shoot the movie. I don't give a 10 since there was a useless 5 minutes talking toward the end along the river and because the end could have been better.

Awesome movie... very suspenseful. Liam Nelson is great. A bit too much of the "F" word, but overall I'd recommend go see it.

If you like the "F---" word, you will love it since it is spoken at least five times every sentence by everyone. Gets slow, then loud, sudden, truly startling scenes even though you know what will happen next. Not nearly as good as I expected. Characters were really not well developed. The ending did not make a lot of sense.

Well obviously very gory, but story is alright and it kept my interest. Liam Neeson is awesome as always. My friend said it should've been called "7 Ways to Die Horribly in the North"

Well as movies go today, not bad. This had some heart jerking (thriller) moments & one definitely felt the fear & freezing cold. A few questionable portions started to make it a bit long for me. Overall I did enjoy... & the sound effects r a +.

Slow in some areas. Intense in others. Graphic. Story line not that great. Some boring monologues that are endless. Love Liam Nelson though. Beautiful scenery. Not a happy movie.

Very slow movie... I like LIAM, but the character development was crappy; the wolves had more character... just kept waitin' for a wolf to transform into a shirtless native guy... ayyyee... it's definitely a CHEAP MOVIE THEATRE price-movie... not worth a combo price...

Hated it and thought it was so stupid. Maybe part reason was that I was under the pretense that it was based on a true story, so expected a lot more hope than what was portrayed. I left the theatre feeling depressed. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.
