Really disappointed. Perhaps because I listened to the audiobook in Liz Gilbert's own voice and because I saw the events with Liz in my mind's eye, this movie didn't cut it. It was too long... the romance didn't work, Julia didn't seem like Liz at all. There were cute lines, beautiful scenery... but it was really missing the "essence" of the book.
