This is definitely not an excapist type of film. If you wanted to be lifted up from the toils of life, try The Holiday. If you do want a well acted, well scripted film that opens your eyes to the possibilities of tomorrow, no matter how grim they may be... definitely see this film. I also felt that I could understand better how people in wartorn areas of the world have to live. I feel very blessed to live in Canada in this time.
