Having read many reviews prior to seeing the film I was not too shocked by all the violence. I just closed my eyes during the scenes that were really bad. I found the movie entertaining, a bit too long tough. The special effects were amazing - really enjoyed that part of it. Jackie Earle Haley carried the movie playing the ferocious Rorschach. He was both scary and empathetic and exciting to watch, loved the moving ink spots. I did think the sex scene between Night Owl and Silk Spectre just didn't fit into the movie -it was just unnecessary nudity. Overall the movie was very entertaining. I went to it realizing it was based on a comic and purely ficton.
