A highly appealing and thunderous ride, spiced and fruited with energy and wit. Sherlock Holmes is a delight to watch and a pleasant surprise, overachieving my expectations as another unhopeful seasonal moneymaker. The concept and execution is directed with edge and enticing flow. There certainly is much to criticize in a movie like this, but who cares. Holmes is badass.
