This thriller was pure genius. It does not hurt to be a little paranoid once in a while after all it pays off most of the times. Very suspenseful.

A lesson in "don't lose your cool" in what could happen to anyone... a break-in wherein someone is home. Now I sleep with both the cell phone and house phone at my bedside every night. I watched it with my kids... wouldn't want them to see it alone.

Like the French review, this reminded me of Home Alone 3, though even worse. So slow, so boring and no suspense... even lack of music throughout. Forest Whitaker had an ok role but the rest, especially Jared were C-level actor.

This movie moved me in many ways it kept me at the edge of my seat and also touched me at the core to see the mother daughter relationship.

A fine example of David Fincher's masterpeices. Absolutely amazing camera work. Jodie Foster was great. Kristen Stuart was believable and very good. Slow to start with but picked up with lots of nail biting scenes. Brilliant movie to watch on a big screen.

This movie was excellent! I couldn't believe Jodie Foster's work. This movie is my absolute favorite movie in the whole wide world and I hope Jodie Foster makes another movie like this, but not a sequel because it would suck. That Raul dude makes me mad by hitting Jodie Foster!!

The opening shots with the camera wandering through the house from floor to floor were mesermizing. The movie was solid throughout.

This movie was absolutely fabulous! Jodie Foster was amazing. I loved the camera work and there was so much suspense. Every second you're wondering what is going to happen next and you feel like you're right in the movie. I definitely recommend it to anyone that is the mood for a suspense movie with some excitement in it. It's not a scary movie at all but it is truely worth watching.

The panic room was a riveting movie. It made you feel as though you were in the movie. Jodie Foster once again showed her fans she is a true action hero, and a fierce woman taking on those low down dirty scoundrouls.

The film maintains its thrill and interest till the last scene... the scene where Jodey Foster returns the thieves action by igniniting the gass and blowing them out' was the best of all scenes. I had thoroughly enjoyed the whole film.

I don't understand how anyone could be bored during this movie. It was very suspenseful and I enjoyed it - except for all the swearing. I go to the movies once or twice a week so I am getting quite knowledgeable about what works and what doesn't. I think this movie worked well and of course having Jodie Foster in it didn't hurt.

What about the ending? Nobody figured that out? You aren't careful watchers. The ending is strong. But you need to use that brain (this little thing right there behind your eyes) Think again about that last scene where the music gets louder, the camera closes up to Foster. Think about why Whitaker returned, why so many cops where there so fast. I am sure you get the answer, good luck!!

Excellent psychological thriller! The main characters are truly convincing in their acting as they work out such an interesting situation -it surely demands good acting skills and a good management of cameras and timing in order to carry out all that film just within four walls!!! This is just another masterful show of creativity!!!

Unfortunately not well paced. This is a Cujo remake with the “Black Dog” instead of the St-Bernard as the terror. The scenario is simplistic; which you forgive since the focus is on the suspense but… Jodie Foster is not well cast in this role of a tough but confused women. The frustrations you experience when she makes the numerous mistakes that miraculously have no impacts are not compensated by the few “good moves” she pulls out. They made her too bold as she does not think 10 secs before jeopardizing her security and mostly her child’s. For those who like all the aspects of movie making, the movie is still worth it for the superb cinematography and some of the best long camera shots I’ve seen lately (efficient usage of CGI to create seamless fluidity of long shots)

I have seen the movie twice, once when it first came out and then about a week ago. I enjoyed the movie, however found it pretty predictable in parts. Nice to see it on the big screen, but if I had it to do over again would not pay full price.

Great movie, not a supernatural thriller as I thought it was but it was good, kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next...

This movie was stupid to say the least- any half intelligent female would be able to figure out how to save herself without resorting to the apparently mindless antics Jodie's character did. I was so frustrated at the end that someone could be so brainless. Don't go see this- it is barely worth even renting.

Never had seen a such stupid movie like this. I wonder if something goes wrong with director. She can open the door for her cellfone to hook the signal. She called 911 and hang up "police did not come bcz they dun know the address" (hahaha) instead of calling police she calls her ex smart muscle husband, asking him coming to save the world ^^. lot of ppl rate this movie as a good one, I can not understand this!!

I LOVED THIS MOVIE! You wouldn't think that 2 people locked in a tiny room the whole time would be a very interesting movie... well if that's what you thought then you were wrong! This was a great movie and Kristen Stewart is an anwesome actor! I hope to see her in more movies! Is all I can say is DEFINITELY go see this movie! It's definitely worth all your money and all your time!

This movie was GREAT! Very suspensful through out the movie. The only down part was that the movie made us care a bit for one of the robbers and didn't let us know about what happend to him at the end.

For me this was one of those films that your friends drag you to see because they want to see it; not one that I wanted to see myself. AND then you're glad they did!!! I really enjoyed this film. Lots of suspense.

Every once in a while a mediocre movie comes out even with known actors. Panic Room is the case. As I sat through the movie, I couldn't stop thinking how they could've made the movie more interesting. The concept started out well, only to falter throughout the minutes of boredom. Don't expect much suspense, nor much excitement. Panic room can be compared to a soda without the bubbles.

Jody Jody Jody, what depths have you stooped to. You really should have done Hannibal, it had twice the suspence and shock factor than this predictable waste of celuloid with it's bumbling bad guys, Mcaully Calkin and the wet bandits would have fit in well.

It was okay... I gess... I think it was kinda fake the acting... but whatever... go and see it if you have nothing to do. But in the end it's not that bad.

I can't believe Jodie Foster passed up the chance to head the Board of Judges at the Cannes Film Festival to film this. Such a disappointing film. Fincher's camerawork was the only saving grace.

This movie was slightly better than Nell and a lot worse than Silence of the Lambs. Umm... Jodie, why was it that you didn't want to work in Hannibal? The only Panic I had was to get out of the room ASAP. Is Nell 2 in the works?
