I like the story of Jane Eyre, but somehow they managed to make this movie humdrum despite having such a good cast and excellent production values. It would have helped if they had just told the story chronologically instead of using flashbacks. Also there was not much chemistry between Jane and Rochester. Save your money and watch it on DVD.
