Telegraph said it best: "Awards should be coming Streep's way; yet her brilliance rather overshadows the film itself." Yes her brilliance does overshadow the film that is why one wonders why there is no plot, because there isn't meant to be one. The movie is Thatcher's portrait and that is what it's all about. The audience is meant to recount the Iron lady, her times, her decisions, where she came from, where she is now, her strengths, weaknesses and the aspects that made her Iron Lady, and who better than Meryl Streep to do 100% justice to this lofty goal of a film? Bravo Streep, Bravo Lloyd!
