Elegant story-telling, strong acting and sharp cinematpgraphy make this a movie worth watching. The South American landscapes alone are worth the price of the movie ticket. Apparently based on the memories of Granado - who appears at the end of the film - is evidence fond memories get better with time. I was especially impressed by the fact that the director and actors had the courage to actually visit and work with actual lepers. This is an inspiring film about seeking social justice which, unfortunately, is something that is still quite rare in rare in Latin America.
