Seems like such a bad movie now with the old special effects, but this movie is truly one of the great horrors. I saw it when I was a kid, and I was terrified of the water after that. It was such a powerful movie. The acting, directing, and writing are some of the best ever. Young people may not appreciate just how good this movie is because of the out-dated effects, but believe me, this movie was terrifying!
