This movie is an interesting, true-life, rags-to-riches story but it would have been much better if it was funnier and more heartwarming. Will Smith and his son both turn in good - but not great - performances. This is the only film that I've seen where the fate of the main character hinges on his ability to solve a 'Rubiks Cube' puzzle!
