I watched the original Swedish 2009 version "Let the Right One in" a few months ago and that was by far the best vampire movie I had ever seen. I was a little leery about this Hollywood remake living up to the original but this movie did not disappoint. This is how movies should be. If you are looking for great camera work, a great story and great acting then go see this movie. If you are only looking for special effects and gore then stay away and watch idiotic films such as Avatar, Ironman, Transformers, and the Expendables. There was plenty of action and gore in this movie but it was part of the storyline of the film, not some gratuitous violence and special effects thrown in to satisfy the mindless masses that unfortunately seem to be the majority of movie goers.
