I enjoyed this movie and feel it deserves better than it is getting here. A cross between Shutter Island, Inception and The Avengers (2012) You need to sit back, let go of reality and enjoy this type of sci-fi. I guess I favour it a bit more as I predicted the slight twist in the ending. The music was good, with remakes of old classics. Wow. Several talented up and coming actresses to keep an eye on.

Wow, what a waste of time. The only good scenes were the fantasies within the fantasy. In other words, the main story is really bad, and only a few scenes are in fact entertaining. Seriously don't bother with this movie.

There are a lot of reasons why this movie was bad, but the most important was, it was boring. I never really got into it and they left a lot of plot holes. The bones of the story had potential, but [they] focussed to much on fake action to supplement the story.

So bad... I was appalled when it finished. No real plot, the action scenes were barely adequate, and it just looked like someone was trying too hard to force as many genres in as possible. It was pitiful and I want my 2$ back.

Hot babes, guns, [explosions], insane action scenes, seriously, what's not to like? There's also a cool depressing little story thrown in there for good measure to mess with you. Go see it, it's confusing, epic, and most importantly, hot.

Love love loved it. Obviously the other [reviewer] wasn't watching the same movie as me because there was a climax and there was intrigue. It's a bit odd and you really shouldn't think to hard to understand it in the beginning, wait till the end when it all comes together. Great action and drama. Love love love.

Visually stunning but kinda lame in the plot area. As I wasn't expecting much I wasn't disappointed. Reminded me of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" with babes and a touch of "Inception" thrown in for good measure. If you are going to see it, it warrants a big screen.

Well, it looked pretty. Good action sequences, fine effects and cinematography, and really hot women. All of that fails to change the fact that the story is convoluted and barely holds together, though. If you only want eye candy, you might enjoy this. If you want a movie that makes sense as well, stick to Snyder's other stuff.

It is a very cool movie. The action sequences are well done with lots of firepower and heavily armed eye candy. The storyline is a little weak but paired alongside all that action, one can mostly overlook any flaws and enjoy the movie for what it's worth (which is a good time) The experience on the big screen certainly makes it worth seeing it in theaters.

This is a music video meets Japanese RPG. There's not much of a story, but it's visually stunning and entertaining. Don't go if you're expecting an Oscar winning drama - it is what it is. It is what it is and it is fun.

Great movie the action was awesome, it reminded me of a japanese anime the action scenes. Very original piece, good storyline and very hot women. But the plot was a lil incoherent, the movie had great visuals and special effects, but I think they still could've done a better job all in all the movie is worth your 10$ lol.

Absolutely brilliant and heart-breaking. Don't feel bad if you didn't understand it, you'd need to be well-versed in psychoanalysis to scratch the surface. And don't try to figure out the title... it's not about the movie, it's about you.

Saw it on IMAX. I never really did quite figure how much of what was presented was actually NOT imaginary but the entertainment value was high enough. I found it worthwhile to see from an entertainment perspective in the end but not mind blowing.

A visual thrill ride with a deep undercurrent. Very clever use of remixed older songs. This movie is where inception meets one flew over the cookoo's nest meets labrynth meets Sky Captain the world of tomorrow. Amazing.

The title fits but is missleading. It tells off all to often abuse of under the guardian ship of an uncaring guardian and at the end the narrator tells the audience that it not the people that did this it your falt to because you stand by and let them do this to others. It set in duty 30's setting so it does not hit home. It may not be the most entertaining movie you will see but it is worth a look.

This movie was a complete waste. There is high school level writing & acting to match. Eg) using contrived, heavy breathing to show tension. The action scenes were ok, but nothing spectacular. If you have seen the trailer, that's pretty much the best action scenes. I also found most of the scenes & dialog ridiculous. Most of the lead actresses were child actors and now they basically had them throw on a pile of awful makeup and skanky clothes. Definitely a fabulous movie if you are a boy who likes looking at teenage girls in a false context that perpetuates the "rape" insinuations the movie portrays. I would have been more satisified with a kick-ass group of girls with kick-ass bodies and kick-ass dialogue (total package) to totally dominate the movie... This one fell really short of doing that!
