Despite being filled with unnecessary songs and many subplots, this animated feature plays a fine homage to Dr. Seuss' book. "The Lorax" is a vibrant, cute, and funny film that is a good pass time. The voice acting throughout the film is great. Danny DeVito delivers a great voice performance as the Lorax. The rest of the cast including Zac Efron and Taylor Swift is passable. When it comes to capturing the essence of a story, this film succeeds but with many problems. Unfitting songs and a predictable plot are the problems. "The Lorax" overall is a fine animated film, but not one someone will remember for a long time.
