Yes I saw the movie and then I bought the movie. It was a funny, creative and up to date rendition of Shakespares "Taming of the Shrew". 2 thumbs way up!

This was a real feel good movie. Kate Hudson pulls some of the best stunts on Matthew that I wished I would have thought of!!! Excellent dollar value for this show!

One of my all time favorites!!! Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger light up the screen - I thoroughly enjoyed the light and funny sarcastic remarks of Julia Stiles and of course Heath Ledger is easy on the eyes as well!!

I thought this film was absolutely brilliant. The acting was great and the people in it. Oh my god I would rent this movie out everyday if I had to. The comedy was also really good, and it was very romantic. (I like the bit when he sang to her in front of everyone. So SWEET.) I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!

It's great to see a happy ending for teenager lovers rather than being heartbroken.

Well balanced from both female and male prospective. Both looked strong in their roll without having to lower the other. Very enjoyable.

Oh, if only movies like this existed when I was in high school. This is in the spirit of Ferris Bueller with the attitude of the Breakfast Club. This is a sharp, sardonic, witty take on a brilliant piece by the Bard. I enjoyed the remarkably talented cast as they knit together this marvelously wicked tale of love, deceit, lies and intrigue. The only drawback, I believe, is the improbability of many of the scenes such as, the forgiveness scene. The detention scenes are just stupid, and I know plenty about detention. Also, some of the actors are embarrassingly old to be playing teenagers, but I digress. This is a very nice springboard for the young actors involved. Keep an eye open for now-famous Heath Ledger. Enjoy. Don't take it or yourself too seriously.

A must see girl night out movie. Continuous laughter and hot Matthew, what a combination. It was a cute, comedy that didn't go above and beyond the mushy level.

I thought this romantic comedy based on shakspeares "Othello" was an excellent film. Although, unlike in the play "othello", this movie did not have a tragic ending and I loved that. I walked away from the movies feeling happy and satisfied with the entire feature.

I just came back from this movie and it was great! It was funny and adorable! It was somewhat your typical love story but with a twist! Matthew was gorgeous and Kate was beautiful. I would recommend this movie to all you single ladies out there. The dream is possible! Enjoy!!!

Ten things I hate about this movie... I think I'd have a hard time keeping it to only ten. Whoever compared it to a modern day version of Taming of the Shrew has obviously never read the play. What has happened to teen movies? Certainly today's teenagers deserve to see more intellectually stimulating films than this piece of overrated fluff.

Loved it from start to finish. Ledger, Stiles, and others did an amazing job. The comedy was right on, the drama was great and the punch lines were awesome. I recommend this to anyone with a sense of humour.
