Tyler Perry's movies are so right on in every level in life and how it is for what it is. He knows it and has figured it out and puts in out there in color. So if you haven't open your eyes yet then make it a point to see his movies.

First I would like to say that I went to the movies and I have finally seen the movie Good Deeds by Tyler Perry, and I must say it's a good movie and a must see movie. I have always loved Tyler Perry movies from the moment he came out. I remember his first play "A DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN". Great play and movie, anything that he does is great, So I sat here and I have rated Good Deed a (9) I believe he may have a part two to the film. If he does I will be ready to see it as well. For those that are reading the comments and seeing if the movie is good or not, check it out and see for yourself, you just might find yourself leaving a comment as well.

Tyler Perry just does great movies and this one is so amazing... we can see how rich people just miss important things in life, things that money can never buy!

A very good feel good movie to lift you up after so much bad stuff in the world today, I would see it again and recommend it to all my family and friends.

I enjoyed the movie in that it aluded to romance but no hard core sex, violence or language. Although it was predictable, it was refreshing and the characters were great. Great job. I would buy the DVD.

I like movies that give people hope about life and love. I'm a giver and in North America we need more people that can help each other.

I usually can't wait to see a Tyler Perry movie because of his story lines full with drama. But this one fell flat to me. Not to say the subject of poverty in America not important but this movie felt more like a Hallmark movie of the week than a Tyler Perry production...

It's the worst of Tyler Perry movie ever made. It was disappointing in its lack of originality. Totally boring and unauthentic... I love Tyler's work but this was a total waste time.

It was very well written and the cast did an excellent job! It literally took me from tears to laughter. Absolutely loved the dancing Tyler :-)

It's not a romantic comedy, it's a light drama. I have always loved Tyler Perry's work so of course I recommend watching this. His work is refreshing - give it a shot.

I am a BIG Tyler Perry Fan! That being said what the others have written I agree with. It has a good story line and great cast... but it is almost as if it is running in slow motion... you just keep waiting for it to pick up speed just a little. Sorry Mr Perry but you could have just moved a little fast in each scene and added more with the time that was left. PS~Mr Perry has dance moves! I would have liked to see a little more of this!!

A feel good movie that doesn't resort to swearing, sex or violence to hold the audiences' interest. It was well written, well paced and well acted.

I thought Tyler Perry did a good job in his first dramatic starring role. But the highlight was Thandie Newton's performance. She was terrific all around.

I agree... this movie, one could have waited for the DVD and it was predictable at times. I thought Brian White was rather annoying, but I got the concept. Having said that, after the first half of the movie went by at a snails pace, it definitely got better. Put it this way, I wouldn't rush to the theaters for this one... definitely not Tyler Perry's usual type of work, but I don't discount this one because I definitely got the lesson that it was trying to portray. That it did fairly well.

So saw the premier and well, I enjoyed it. I would probably say wait for the dvd. But it was a good film with a few laughs here and there. Mostly a drama, not the usual for Tyler Perry. Decent acting. Somewhat predictable at times.

A good movie, it has a great lesson. Sometimes people just want to make others happy and they worry about what people think, instead of being themselves and living their dream. It is funny, entertaining with a great meesage.
