Halifax

If you know of the cultural clashes in Canadian culture, this is a must MUST SEE! Hilarious!! A couple of the scenes were hysterical. (You'll know one of them for sure when you see it. *g*) After so much tension between French and English Canada for so long, it was great to laugh at ourselves! And to laugh at each side through the eyes of the other. It was a bizarre combination of edgy thriller (surprisingly violent in parts) and tongue-in-cheek madcap comedy. I felt the comedy faded a bit in the second half and I wish it had ended on a more hilarious note. Not sure if they had covered it all and ran out of surprises, or if I was just all laughed out by then. ;-)
