Someone who gives this a 2 is being thoughtful. This is abysmal, avoid at all costs.

A potentially good story wasted with mediocre acting and dialogue. With elements of horror movies from the past, this one never quite hit with the audience. Hardly a scare, very predictable and at times slow.
| 5/10 | paulleslie12@ - 406 reviews 28.2.2011 - age: 36-49 |
Found that it started it out well, seting everything up, trying to make it erie, but it falls flat around the mid way point, just fails to grip you and keep you interested.

This should have been called "The Ungood" - I would rather watch paint dry. It was dull, predictable and a rip off many other horror movies. What was Gary Oldman thinking - a paycheque perhaps? I hope Scary Movie 5 tears a strip off it.

This movie looked soo Good. But it wasn't, the plot was such a Good idea, but urgh. Especially the ending, it was horrid.

I liked it, it was a bit confusing but so so so much better than Hoboken Hollow which was just plain sick. The part were the old guy with his head turned around chases after the old granny was weird, but other than that I liked it.

I was disappointed. I thought there was more to it. Looked better in the trailers than it really was.

| 1/10 | michaeldimitry@ - 6 reviews 23.2.2009 - age: 18-25 |
Found it boring and couldn't wait it for it be over. Don't think it was scary at all. The Exorcist and Ringu/The Ring did it much better.
| 4/10 | parker_2@ - 297 reviews 17.2.2009 - age: 36-49 |

Wow was this movie ever bad I wanted to leave ATFER 10 minutes into it but decided to stay because of the lovely ODETTE YUSTMAN who had my attention throughtout. This was one of the worst horror movies to be relesed in a whilw... avoid at all coasts... not even on dvd...
| 3/10 | claudio_delisi@ - 20 reviews 31.1.2009 - age: 18-25 |
Very few movies deserve a 1 out of 10, but this film was the worst film I've ever paid to watch, maybe tied with The Grudge 2. I went in expecting a bad movie with some scares, but what I got was a horrible movie with no scares. Very predictable, very stupid, horrible special effects, and fairly bad acting. Avoid this film at all costs, it is pure torture to sit through.
| 1/10 | ericaxelwallin@ - 4 reviews 31.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |
Good movie; not terrifying but definitely worth seeing for a few easy scares.
| 7/10 | sammy@ - 2 reviews 29.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |
Predictable, extremely slow, almost walked out of the theatre in the middle of the movie. Very, very, very bad acting the most worst movie I've seen before people shouldn't waste good money on this thriller.

This was the best movie of the year its suspenseful and keeps you on your seat the whole time.
| 10/10 | playa_haters69@ - first review 28.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |
This movie was definitely a disappointment. The acting was actually okay and the special effects were decent but the storyline did not make any sense at all. The overall average of 5.5 that viewers seem to have rated this movie is highly generous. I am surprised that this movie did not go straight to DVD.

I actually went to this movie thinking it was something else. When I realized what it was I didn't really care about it and had no expectations, but I found that it had an ok story. But the horror part to it was scary it was more funny then scary. The most amusing part about it was when the old guy walked all crazy and stuff with his head turned around.
| 6/10 | eblain89@ - 7 reviews 28.1.2009 - age: 18-25 |
This movie was only scary because things are popping out radomly like every scene, but still a Good plot line just poorly & confusingly push together. Overall it as okay though.
| 6/10 | midnight-pyro@ - 6 reviews 27.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |

Hey!! I'm 14 years old and I NEVER watch scary movies because unlike my mom, who can watch them and not care, I'm sitting there screaming my head off... So I saw the trailer for this on the TV and was like I HAVE TO SEE THIS!! So I went to see it in Windsor and when I did, I cried the entire time!! It was soo scary for me but I'm addicted to it now!! I absolutly HAVeee to go see it again!!! (3.

I love how everybody is saying this movie sucked... personally I thought it was really Good. It scared the hell out of me , I screamed like 10 times ; although some of it was just really dumb and made me laugh.. but overall it was a pretty Good movie , probably one of the scariest ones I've seen.
| 9/10 | static_lullaby.x@ - first review 24.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |
Overall, it was a great movie. Warning: do not get attached to any characters. The movie was scary and disturbing, but not the worse ever. Some parts were kinda random, but I did enjoy the movie.

At least the movie industry is trying to come out with original films. It's not amazing, but it's an alright watch if you're not expecting an amazing view. I don't agree when people say that it's not as scary as the remakes that are coming out because remakes are rarely scary and are just badly done. All and all, it could have been done better, but it's a fun watch anyway.
| 5/10 | mskrip@ - 2 reviews 22.1.2009 - age: 18-25 |
That is just the funniest movie i ever saw! I mean, that's not even a horror movie, they're a couple of Good scene BUT if you wanna go see this movie to have some scary time, go see an other movie like "my bloody valentine3-d" the remake of a 80s movie, it's ganna be way more scary. But if you wanna go see a funny movie, I Recomend you The unborn more then "the fat officer in the mall" lol.

Its stupid. Not scary, and not worth your money. Is more of a comedy actually. I was laughing.
| 4/10 | soccer_owns17@ - first review 19.1.2009 - age: 13-17 |
Ok, I'm not one for scary movies. But my sister wanted to get out of the house so we ended up at the theater waiting to see this. I hadn't seen that many commercials for it so I had no idea what I was in for. But I actually loved it. The acting was good and interesting. It kept me on my feet the whole time. There was definitely never a dull moment. I would go back and see it again in a heart beat! (:

Weak weak story. Not at all scary. So unoriginal and uninteresting. Good graphics tho.
| 5/10 | bluecakes@ - first review 19.1.2009 - age: 26-35 |
I love scary movies and this one creeped me out. I spent much of this movie with my face buried in my friends shoulder. I haven't had a movie do that to me in years!
| 9/10 | tanyajensen@ - first review 18.1.2009 - age: 36-49 |
This movie has to be one of the worst horror movies I've seen. So unbelievable, the only thing that saved it was Gary Oldman and even his performance wasn't that good considering what a great actor I think he is... wouldn't waste my money, if you have to see it, rent it.
| 4/10 | dawsonfiftynine@ - 3 reviews 18.1.2009 - age: 36-49 |
