Overall good flick... I loved seeing grimy 1800's London and the Thames. I loved the Holmes/Watson relationship and my husband appreciated that the story was just like reading one of the books. However... note to parents... there is no way in heck this film is for a children under five so don't bring them. It's kind of gruesome in spots and too long to hold their interest. They will get restless and fuss, just like the under fives we were seated next to.
