First, I want to be clear that in by saying this film is "not good" I do not mean to say it is lousy, boring, predictable, etc. However, it is definitely not a movie that I would recommend for everyone. Very violent - but not like the glorified violence typical of action movies - real violence that actually happens. Very disturbing, I felt sick to my stomach after watching this movie and it haunted me for several days after. The story is hard-hitting, gut-wrenching, raw and powerful. The acting was spot-on and even though the film seemed slow at times, the plot was well developed and the story was well-presented. The intermittent lulls allowed time for the audience to digest inbetween the tragedies and revelations. Simply put, I would NEVER watch this film again.
