'Adventure" is sometimes defined as the story of people in a far away place having a really unpleasant experience... This movie qualifies, and you can have the unpleasant experience right along with them. Unsympathetic characters, lots of overacting and trite dialogue, clunky plotting all add up to a pretty thorough downer. It should be noted that while there are some good bits of diving portrayed, this isn't particularly a movie about diving. Maybe if caving is your thing, you'll like it better. I would rather have stayed home and watched Fool's Gold again...
