Captain America: The Winter Soldier

This was an unexpected surprise! I generally like most of these super hero action movies, but I never go into the theater expecting a whole lot because it's easy to fall into the Hollywood formulas like they so often do. As my sister said, this may have been the best comic book movie so far! It's hard to describe why it was so effective. The story line was less predictable and far-fetched than usual. The directing, writing, acting and music were all excellent. It is extremely well-paced and I was never bored. I could even tolerate Black Widow if you can believe that. This is head and shoulders better than the first Capt. America and Avengers. Sam Jackson always delivers and defies his age. I could not help but like him and he has gadgets that put James Bond to shame! The real villain was a surprise. The whole was just very well executed and Abed for comic relief was priceless.
