Pay no attention to naysayers. This is a PROPER sequel to parts 4, 5, and 6. It FEELS like the original Star Wars trilogy from the late 70s and early 80s. And a bonus for real Star Wars fans is that there are NO ewoks, no tortured whiny emo Anakims, no metachlorians, and no Jar Jars. Creatures and people do not do quintiple cgi backflips flying around as though Tim Burton may have influenced the awful awful prequels. I will say it again, THIS feels like Star Wars with the grit, ruins and atmosphere like the original. George Lucas should take notice how it captures the mood and dialogue expected of A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Nothing is rushed here. This film respects the fans.
