The November Man has the feel of a film you'd catch late at night on Netflix. In fact, I'm willing to bet it getting a theatrical release is due in large part to Brosnan, whose 007 credentials can still open a movie like this rather effectively. It suffers from a master vs protege been there done that feel, plenty of cringe worthy dialogue, not to mention an annoying tendency to switch to slow motion at key action moments. Competent direction from Roger Donaldson and a lighting quick pace are pluses, as is Brosnan. Yet at it's core, nothing more than your run of the mill agency potboiler that could just as easily have gone straight to DVD.
