Firstly, I'm not going to give-away the movie. It really is quite different. I had read a previous reviewer on here who expressly gave away the flick. Avoid all that! This is a well-made Canadian movie - shot in Montreal. True. On the movie, it really is an interesting story about a writer who takes a gamble on something that should not be done - ever. It goes to involve the literary business world of being a genuine writer, and how this comes to be in his faltering life. Sure, there is a mistake or two in the flick, as how much can you believe is actually happening to a man who is down on his luck. You know, it does comes off a bit strange when you think of it after a short while. He has a lot going for himself already. But due to putting something forward with the persistence of actor Bradley Cooper (who is also the movies executive producer), it does bring him a lot of luck. It's just, he does seem unsure on who he may hurt through the process of it all.
