A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

A broad musical farce in part from Stephen Sondheim that starred a good deal of the original Broadway cast. This "Roman" film of antiquity can be quite hilarious with star turns from the likes of Zero Mostel, Phil Silvers and EVEN from BUSTER KEATON who was at the end of his film career. The silliness might be a tad too much for some folks.
