The follow up to PHANTOM of the Opera is just a great piece of theatre and music as everything shifts to Coney Island in New York, with the same characters, of course. I was simply mesmerized by this fascinating score which never got to Broadway, but is now in the very process of starting massive world tours as the revival so richly deserves. It is the Australian filmed production I saw and created such a sensation that it has finally led to a new life for a A. L. Weber's miraculous theatre piece. It is now in Japan, then going to Germany and other European Capitals and will do a complete tour of the USA. I'm sure it will land on Broadway in the future. The music is to die for. It is one of Weber's best, but for some reason it originally didn't click with the public.
