On Stranger Tides in 3D did nothing to enhance my enjoyment of this series of film. Neither was the presence of Penelope Cruz much of a comfort. I was hoping against hope this Pirates movie would capture my imagination. It didn't. I just don't find it amusing or comic in any way.
