For those who know Tintin in book form, you will find the movie driven by action rather than a solid story line. I recall all the characters being larger than life, but in this film they were second to the fast paced action. On the other hand it was visually stunning in that non-stop way. For purists, this movie is better in French as it was originally intended - Snowy the dog hasn't got the impact Milou (translation : half-wolf) has.
