The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

This is an excellent movie. We learn the core of what drives the story of the Hunger Games and its characters. It may be light on the the special effects, explosions, and flashy fights scenes but we see how important it is for Katniss not to become anyone's puppet but to be true to herself. The larger message is about how powers that be are always trying to manipulate the masses and that we need to question authority, and because of this this movie delivers in substance if not in CGI graphic gore for true Hunger Games fans.
