It's unfortunate that most of the reviews for this little remarkable film are from persons over fifty. I say this because the younger generation could have learned some life affirming lessons by watching this gem of an English movie. To say I was profoundly touched would be an understatement. The sense of family, of community and ultimately the love of a husband and wife in their twilight years prove to be such powerful and beautiful things. Vanessa Redgrave and Terrence Stamp rose to the top of their game as they combine to fill us with emotions and tender most sentiment that never become maudlin. I loved this miraculous indie film very much. Craving for other films of such worth!
