Bridge of Spies

First of all, this is not really a thriller nor an action movie... at all. It is a procedural drama of sorts which emphasizes the respect of american values & justice in even the worst of circumstances. The true story that emanates and brilliantly acted by all parties involved is that of humanity and values. That each spy was doing the job they were asked to do and that they should be treated like humanely and with equal value to any american life. All in all it was a good movie though not quite as entertaining and certainly slower paced than I would have liked it to be. For a 2h30 movie, incorporating more of a thriller/action element, especially in a movie played out in the midst of the cold war would have been warranted even though a sidestep from the main plot line.
