Fiddler on the Roof depicts the Jewish life experience in Eastern Europe in a time when the Jews were being persecuted for practicing their religion and for their culture. All facets of a Jewish life are explored as the movie progresses with terrific musical numbers that practically come right out of the screen. The singing, the dancing, the joy of living makes Fiddler an experience you'll want to live over again and again. Incredible imagery and a great feeling of warmth permeates this cinematic masterpiece.
