Very disappointing when compared to what Terry Gilliam or Hayao Miyazaki might have done with similar material. Nolan has ignored the possibilities of dreams / unconscious and instead delivered yet another Hollywood clusterf**k of over the top CGI. The so-called 3 levels of dreams were not differentiated in any interesting ways. Where was the promised limbo? How fascinating that place could have been if Nolan had any imagination. Dreams don't need 'architects' - they often turn on the most simple and emotionally powerful imagery none of which is in this movie. There is no chemistry or resonance between Leo and his wife. The team is uninteresting, their survival depends on the driving skills of a chemist. Bands of men armed with assault rifles can't hurt anyone despite shooting a parked van at point blank range. Ellen Page, miraculously, is very good and appealing throughout this half-baked mess.

See, I thought that he was in limbo during the entire movie? It's interesting to see it from a different angle such as yours :)
