It Follows

Well, this is kind of the movie that you see and that leaves you. No worries there, it won't follow you anywhere, not in your dreams, not in your shower, not anywhere in your thoughts. That's so much of the problem here, there is little to be remembered about this movie. I understand that horror flicks are a great investment because they cost little to make for a semi-decent ROI and hit the big times with the Blair Witch Project and the paranormal series but it doesn't mean you shouldn't invest in creating well drawn out characters and a connecting storyline. Thats the problem with this movie, so many of the characters are generic. It could have been any two teens having intercourse in a car. Nothing really special about any of it. The ending is in mny ways better than the beginning but still, the emptiness of the in between leaves something to be desired. The lead actress was by far the best out of the bunch and certainly did a good job with what she was given as was her partner in the ending scenes. Overall not bad second half of he movie if you can manage to get through the first.
