Man of Steel is a superior retelling of the "Superman" story. Good plot developement, costume design and incredible eyepopping sets makes this one of the best summer blockbusters that lives up to it's hype. Henry Cavill as the buff Superman character is great casting and Amy Adams who plays an unwhiny confident Lois Lane is much better than any of the actresses portraying Lois in movies that ran before this. Michael Shannon who plays General Zod brings his A game to his portrayal as the overconfident, ruthless arch nemesis of Superman and everyone else on Earth. Even the 3D effects were decent. Well worth seeing and looking forward to the sequel that is sure to come. Zack Snider who directed, who also directed "300" has an incredible eye for detail and is one of the best genre directors to emerge in a very long time.
