    Click here to show this review.     I enjoyed Jamie in this. Yet, this movie is waaay too long and lacks focus. I suppose most people’s life lack focus, but usually not a story of their life. There are holes in the drugs account. As in, I don’t think they want to tell us it all. Flash backs to his youth to tell the tale of his mom and brother start out strong, and then become a patchy editing tool when they can’t figure out how to gel the thing together. And all of a sudden, about when the movie should end, they throw in some civil rights stuff, and 20 minutes later give it an ending related to that.
